The bus to Milan departed at 11pm. We thought we could just sit wherever we want. Turned out the driver took our passport, keyed in something on his phone and gave our seat number. I sat alone which is good but I didn't sleep on both seats pun. We went through Switzerland. Omg the snow capped mountain. Even pictures don't do them justice. Ape lagi cuba snap gambar on a moving bus. Nan hado.so I just took some videos. We went through tunnel after tunnel. Baru nak amik video masuk tunnel. Panjang2 pulak tu. Geram doh tengok snow. Tapi serious nak nangis bila tengok suhu

Arrived at around 11++.Took the subway to Vimodrone, near our home stay. Our guide left us to get the keys (so troublesome coz he needed to get on the train somewhere else). Wasting a lot of time waiting. But what to do??!

Our home stay was on the first floor. Smaller than in Paris. I didn't take any picture of the house coz it looks like a very normal 3 bedroom apartment. After praying, I went out with the guide. The rest were tired. It was almost 5pm. We went to Central then to Duomo. When I saw Milan Cathedral, I was speechless. So beautiful!! Took some pictures then went around the shops. I just like the ambience at this place. I like Milan. 💕 And I felt a lot safer than in Paris. Went back at around 9 which already look like midnight

winter trip 2018 part 3

For third day, we went out quite late. Even had lunch at home. Packed our bags and left the homestay. Left our stuff at Gare du Nord. First stop was Hard Rock Cafe. Some bought stuff and some took pictures (open order). Then just went around again at the same area as first day. They want to buy souvenirs again (and I ended buying again). Purposely bought extra fridge magnet so I can sell them. Hahaha.

I think I hate Paris. It's difficult to find public rest room thus making it difficult for me to take wudhu. I did my wudhu at home but then this guy touch my hand. Arghh so stress. X tau kesusahan aku nak mempertahankan wudhu. Mmg patut pakai sarung tangan tapi susah betul nak snap gambar.
After looking around for shoes (our guide la) we had dinner at Marmaris. I had some kind of kebab and the portion itself was big+fries+canned drink. I just ate the fries. Took away the kebab.

 Then went back to the main station. Since we had to wait for 11pm train to Milan.. we lepak at McD in front of the station-the same one as the first day. The bus ride would be 12 hours. From Gare Du Nord we took the train to another station to get to the bus station which was quite far since we had to drag our bags.

OK lagi nak compare pasal facility public transport kat Paris. Lif dia tak banyak. Kitorang yang heret beg ni, memang terasa azabnyer. Yang ade eskalator nasib baik jugak la. Ada certain station cuma ada tangga. Bapak dia. Aku yang gagah perkasa iron woman pun menyumpah 53 kali. Jalan pulak tak rata. Almaklum.. Stail coble stone gitu. Facility kat Malaysia lagi baik. Seoul gak the best (nampak tak petanda nak kena repeat Seoul??) *_^

winter trip 2018 part 2

The second day, we ate rice for breakfast. Went to Disneyland. It took around 40 minutes to reach there. Had to change train at Gare du Nord. It was extremely cold. It was actually - 1 degree. And I just wore slack. The ultra warm heat tech pant didn't help much but at least I was not shivering. Bila cakap, ada la asap.kakaka jakun sungguh. We arrived around 10am at Disneyland. So difficult to take pictures coz of the cold. Stuck kat depan je da berapa lama. Some were doing Instagram live! (face-palm) bila nak habis pusing camni. The only ride I went on was mad-hatter teacup.The sun made its appearance and we started to get some heat. Then I took picture with the villain from Aladdin.  Can u guess what happened next?  These people wanted to go out. Arghhh i was so depressed. Baik dari awal jangan masukkan Disneyland. Takde la aku kecewa sangat. Later I found out the ticket was 53euro (through klook) can u imagine I spent rm260 just for 2 hours and not feeling satisfied? What can I do???

We headed to La Vallee, an outlet. (tetiba semua yang komplen sejuk jadi segar, dah tak kisah sejuk pfftt) I had to pray near the toilet but better than having to 'qada' a day's prayer. Penat kot. I checked the Long Champ handbag that I like. It was around 90euros.so I skipped that. Then at Coach.. I gave in. I bought 2 handbags with 40% discount. Still can claim VAT. Then we went home.

winter trip 2018 part 1

I decided to join a trip to Europe on 31 July after like 2 weeks of thinking (because it involved a lot of money) I also gave much thought because I don't know any of them including the guide. It was like gamble (need me to highlight my unfortunate event in 2016? )
Our flight was on 10 December at 4pm. I went to Seremban a day earlier. On the day itself, my bro sent me to the airport. I waited for them coz I was early for 2 hours. Aiyo!!

After checking in, they had lunch. Then went to pray. Our flight was China Eastern Airlines. We had to transit in Shanghai first. It took 5 hours. I was shocked to see the flight attendants. Speaking kinda loud. Quite the opposite from what my fren told me. Their security check was quite strict too. When we entered the airport, I was given a meal voucher because I bought the ticket at their office. You know what I bought? Evian mineral water. Hahaha bengong tak? It was a reasonable choice I think. The voucher was 80renmibi.total for 2 bottle of Evian is 80 (1 small + 1big)  besides I'm not really sure how halal is the food.

I berwudhu then prayed on the flight. I had empty seats beside me. This flight was not boring coz they have entertainment. The first one I just had to stare at the seat. And the male flight attendant was handsome too hahaha. French guys siot. They even warm the bread first unlike the first one. (tak tahu nak describe camne perasaan duk dalam plane 12 jam. Pas tido..tido lagi. Tgk Bridget Jones pun x habis. Telinga cam tak berapa dengar sangat. Last sekali tengok fantastic beast 1 without earphone.)

When we arrived in CDG, went to the toilet first. Tak tau la.. Aku serious tak nak guna toilet kat atas sana. Terpaksa catu minum air. The second worst part of travelling (bagi aku) immigration. They asked a lot. How many days,nak gi mana, do u have return ticket, how much money u bring. They even requested to see our credit card. Pliss la, tak nak aku duduk Paris lepas da tengok keadaan dia camne. Baik Seoul skit. Hahaha

Then we all mereput jap at the airport. Then off to Gare du Nord and put our bags there. 9.50 euro for a big size locker. Can fit 2 luggages and 2 backpacks. Off we went to explore Paris. Actually pi breakfast jap kat depan tu. Minum hot chocolate.

We took the subway to Louvre. All the buildings are well preserved. It's like being transported back in time. Walked around that area. One man came to us and tried to sell key-chain and Eiffel miniature. 1 euro for 5 key chains. It was quite cheap coz at the shops it was like 1 euro for 3/4. I bought "a few".

Then took the subway again to Eiffel Tower. So surreal. Can't believe I'm actually looking at it. But didn't get on the tower itself. And no river cruise. (nampak sangat kena datang lagi hihi) . Took the subway again to Champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe. The weather started to get cold. Since we arrived it was already gloomy and cloudy.

We took our bags at the station and headed to our home stay for 2 nights. Omg! The house is so nice. Merasa la den duk umah omputih yang siap ada heater bagai tu. I'm so in love with my room coz it has window. Can actually star gazing (puii)  we cooked rice and heat up the food we brought.

Ada insiden sket dalam subway tadi. 2,3 remaja buka pintu train yang dah tutup. Ade makcik tu plak tunjuk2 beg aku. Macam nak kata maybe beg aku da kena curi sesuatu. Tapi aku yakin budak tu takde sentuh aku. Tapi bila sume cam suruh check barang, aku jadi cuak gak la. Memang tak selamat la Paris ni. Da la sentiasa ada warning pasal pickpocket dalam train. Means benda ni sangat serious. Better Hong Kong la camni. Aku letak sarung handset kat poket tepi beg je. Selamat. Kalau kat Malaysia pun belum tentu selamat. Mesti da kena amik.
