Surabaya 4

we left bromo around 10 am...after the long journey (not to mention tiring! ) i juz slept along the way.
our next stop was an apple farm

then we were taken to our camp for the night----it was heaven !!!!
it was a spa hotel..unfortunately, i didnt have the advantage of experiencing the spa treatment :(
but my room was MARVELLOUS.i really love the bathroom.so ermmm "open" hahaha i dunno how to describe it.so enjoy the pics

after resting,taking a shower & praying, we went out for dinner and then to BNS - Batu Night Spectacular.
it was like a fun fair...they have all this fun rides,ghost house,go cart,glass house,mini cinema...
my uncle's fren wanted to go into the ghost house...but he was the only 1 wanted to go in..hahaha in the end,nobody went inside.we juz watched the 4D movie for 12000RP.

last week i went out with a buddy...this buddy always listen to my story about how i do my movie marathon :)

so decided to ask my buddy out and let my buddy experience my marathon...HAHAHAHA sampai tak sempat nak lunch.

i was sooo hungry after the second movie.hampeh betul

i wanted to watch monster U.bought the ticket at 12.00 show.turned out to be 12.00am. so they refund the money then we quickly bought World War Z...late 20 minutes.doink ! so i had no idea how those people turned to zombies.

after the movie,we quickly prayed and lined up to buy popcorn.not enough time to eat lorr.at 2 watched Despicable Me 2

yesterday...since Pacific Rim is so tempting...i went to watch it. 2hours!.whoooaaa so syok la to watch the pictures.quite funny too with the two scientists.ok i dun wanna talk about the hero-SO GOJES coz he's like SO TALL...wait!! i juz talked bout him.welll, u might as well read it HI HI . the ending part is quite dumb actually.the blew up the core of the earth yet the earth remains the same.ok dun think bout it.it's juz a story

Surabaya 3 : Bromo

at 2.30am i woke up,got dress (minus the bathing though !)

around 3am, we got in the jeep and headed to where we were supposed to watch sunrise.the driver was very skilful.the road was the same as yesterday-winding (not to mention it was still dark).the place was opposite Bromo , Mount Penanjakan. it was still early, so we hang out at the coffee shop.i drank milo of course but it didnt taste like malaysian milo.

then we prayed subuh and then went up to watch the sunrise.ok biasa je la kan.but seeing a volcano with the smoke coming out was spectacular.

u can choose to walk or ride a horse to bromo..but "old citizen" like me chose to ride a horse hahaha new experience.around RP150 000.dun dream about riding it like a cowboy coz the owner pulled the horse :D

after coming down from bromo, we were taken to the surrounding area.how can one place has so many different landforms.

(i better start finishing this story coz my amnesia is kicking in !!! )

on the second in surabaya, we checked out a little late.
had breakfast at the hotel.it was not so nice.but cant complaint much
my uncle's fren arrived after buying other tickets..
later we had lunch at Sederhana, nasi padang restaurant.

the food was enuf to feed 20 people...ok exaggerating ! but really, there were about 30+ dishes (2 of everything).u dun have to pay for everything.u eat what u want, then u pay for what u have eaten.simple.

a normal view here..they sit by the road side and sell food.motorcycles are everywhere & they juz push their cart
then we headed to Monumen Kapal Selam.we didnt spend a lot of time here.

walked around and found this sculpture.i was hoping to come here coz it's like the landmark of Surabaya- sora (shark) and boya (crocodile).it was said these 2 animals were fighting.that's how they got the name.well, for better info,do contact uncle google kay! unfortunately no picture of me standing here...sigh

later we headed to Bromo.here are some pictures along the way

Lapindo mud area.this area was surrounded with high walls.the guide did explain but i was too busy ermm sleeping :D she didnt encourage us to stop here coz she said there are many bad guys.but a fren of mine who went there last march said she went up there.so, it's up to u

around 5 we started to go up the mount and it started to get chilly.the way up was like going up Cameron Highlands.when u look out the window, it was very steep slopes.OMG ! i was like saying prayers & berzikir aje laa.

then we arrived at

along the way, u had to stop to pay the entrance fee and if u are going to use camera, u have to pay too.if i was not mistaken, the camera was like RM15. of course i paid (duhh).by the time we arrive, it was quite dark.we checked in and then have dinner.i didnt know it was going to be VERY COLD.i only brought my cotton jacket.it was not enough.had to rent a jacket (RP25000).i dont care.i almost died of extreme cold HAHAHAHA.the guide said, the temperature could reach 5degree OMG!!

my room for the night.the floor was so so cold.it was like walking on ice.luckily there was a water heater otherwise i couldnt be bothered to take a bath (shhh).since no one is sleeping on the 2nd bed, i took the blanket.i slept with 4blankets (4 toto pun still sejuk nak mampus).slept early coz had to wake up at 2.30am. at 3 we were going to see sunrise.
