Jeju part 2

On day 3,we were joined by another traveller. She's taking break from work and is travelling around Korea for a month. Wow, terer seyh. She sat in front and talked to the guide. A good thing hahaha. First, we went to the Mysterious Road. A group was actually using a water level to see the balance of the road. From my view, the water was level.

Then headed to Seongup Folks Village. All the old houses with hay roof. Oh, I bought sim card from Hello 1010 but was not able to use the Internet although I did received sms confirmation saying the card was activated. I just browsed the WiFi and turned out Jeju has free WiFi at tourist spots. Just do a quick registration and you're good to go. Siap buat live lagi.

Next, went to Seopjikoji Light House. Oh man, had to walk up to the light house. I couldn't stop on the stairs because there were people behind and they just kept walking. Rasa lutut cam nak tercabut bila sampai atas. The view was nice. Dari jauh nampak those huge fans to generate electricity. Again bought the octopus snack when we got down... Hahaha so obsessed with it.

Seongsan Ichilbong Peak was the next stop. But we had so little time and I couldn't hike up to the peak. We took the shortest route and near the beach below there were women divers. Below, we had lunch at one of the shop and it also has a musolla (mix).

can you spot the diver?

mackerel again...as usual

Next, we went to Manjanggul Lava Cave. We had to walk inside the dark cave to the the old tunnel where lava flow. Very interesting but cold. It was 1 km going in and 1km going out. Good work out I say.

Went back to the city and had dinner at Wardah, a halal restaurant serving Yemen food. Mine was not that good. Sorry. After dinner, we decided to go shopping. The guide sent the other girl back to her hotel and sent us to the city. It was like in Seoul last time. Shopping for skincare! I also looked around for down winter jacket but just couldn't decide which one. Went back around 10.30 on a taxi. The meter started with 3300 won and when we arrived at the guest house, it was 4800

Our flight was at 8am. Went to the airport at 4am+.After settling in, I quickly slept because last night I had only 1+hour of sleep. Woke up when food was served and continued to sleep some more.

new menu...red burger. the bun was crunchy and the taste was a bit weird
tapi sebab lapo, habis jugak

Only woke up about 1/2 hour before arriving, around 2pm (Malaysia time). We met with the guide and he took us to the guesthouse and would picked us up again for dinner at 6pm. He said, if we want to go anywhere, just tell him.

 1st day's dinner

Had dinner at an Indian restaurant, Bagdad.. I had chicken biryani. It was nice but not as nice as the 1 I had in Paris. The parking here is just crazy. On both sides of the road. But we parked at private parking. The houses here don't have porch inside the house. So they simply park outside. Then went back to guesthouse.

On day 2,we went out at 9. It was sunny but cold. Went to Jusangjeolli Cliff. I just slept all the way there. (memang layak panggil trip tido ni. Asal masuk keta je tido) upon arriving, the guide asked us to pose inside "ladang lalang". Kelakar betul. Layan kan aje.

Then walked inside to the cliff. This is the place to see harden larva in the sea. Also had the chance to see abalone. When we got out, I bought orange juice and octopus snack. So shedap!

unik kan?

officially MY FAVOURITE snack in jeju..the outside is just batter..inside they have cream cheese and mozarella...OMG...when u eat into it, the melted cheese inside just oozed out...GOSH

Then went to Yeongmori Coast. We couldn't go down to the beach because of the weather. When the weather is bad, the door will be closed. So, just went inside the ship and looked around the rapeseed field.

Here they sold pumice stone for 2000 each or 5000 if you take 3

Went back to the city and had lunch of grilled mackerel. Back to the hotel to rest and pray. Later went to 1100 Altitude Wetland on Hallasan. Dang! It was cold but the view of autumn is just breathtaking. Just went in for a small stroll since it was getting dark.

Went down and headed back to the city and had dinner at Raj Mahal. This is the happening area. Many shops. After dinner, we were sent back to the guesthouse but didn't go inside. We took the door password from the reception and headed out for a walk. Unfortunately, there was nothing interesting around the area. I only managed to get a bottle of sweet potato milk drink (similar to banana uyu but different flavour.

I would say this is the best (or among the best) naan i've eaten. like seriously..I don't mind going to Jeju again and eat this for dinner everyday I'm there (cravingg!!!)
