Korea : day 5

the last day for us in Korea
so, we went for hanbok wearing session at Myeongdong Tourist Information Centre.
the best thing was it's free.
but you have to wait for your turn, take pictures only in the room prepared within 1 hour.
there wasn't much choice of the hanbok.
nak free kan :)

u stand in front of the green screen.some1 has to choose a screen background.take a picture and it would look like this.u can get the pictures by sending them to your email.

while waiting for the people before us to finish posing with the hanbok...i went outside.
(the usual me who can't be still)
i found a paris baguette cafe across the road. i did google somewhere and the writer said this macaron is halal.so i bought one (in case malaysian student yang study kat korea kata benda ni haram...haish..mampu bertaubat je la aku)

after a bite.the filling was vanilla ice cream

then we headed to Ewha University. here u can find the tallest escalator
(ok maybe not in the world)
serius gayat bila tengok bawah

so many shops on both sides of the road. since we were chasing time...we didn't wander around the shops or was it because of money shortage ??  hahaha

wajib bergambar kat sini

stairs to Ewha University subway

Next, we headed to Namdaemun for shopping spree..hahaha.
i bought a bag for 20 000 won.last time, i saw at one of the subway only 10000 won.
well padan muka. apsal time tu tak beli.
lesson learned...next time, beli aje terus

makcik gula tarik. this is candy with different filing.but i personally like the one with peanut.
banyak jugak aku memborong benda alah ni untuk bagi pada orang.nak beli keychain banyak2 mana mampu..so bagi la makan benda ni.

some of the flavours

terjumpa jugak kedai souvenir murah ni. it was raved in travel groups for giving cheap price.
i thought i took many things for souvenir...bila balik GH, rupanya nan hado.haha nasib la sape jadi kawan aku. gi jalan tak suke beli souvenir.

there was a section for brooches...i didn't any coz all were bulky and shiny.
just not the type that i would wear.i end up waiting outside.
then we headed to Dongdaemun.
our plan was to buy cotton cloth but we arrived at 6 ++ and many shops at that place close at 5 pm. so, kami telah dikecewakan.

kedai kain

so we went to this fish stall for dinner.
this place was a bit hidden. macam kat lorong belakang gitu.
but along the road memang semua kedai ikan bakar macam ni.

so you choose which fish you want. they'll prepare it for you.

ordered some side dish as well.

sambal sotong korean style.
still terbayang kepedasan+ kesedapan dia .but hard to chew

that soup i cannot eat...the smell was not tempting at all.

after dinner, i told my friends that i wanted to walk around. they all can go back if they want.
one wanted to follow me. the rest went back to GH.
i saw on the map the Dongdaemun Design Plaza-DDP was just around the corner. so i wanted to check it out coz it was like one of the coolest building.
lucky that i found it

LED frowers. another reason why i wanted to come to DDP

after we toured that place.. we went back to GH. we asked some young teeangers to show us the subway but they could not understand my english. so..yeah...that's the problem when u come here.
we ended looking for it on our own

the next day, we went out real early coz our flight was like 11 a.m.
at the Seoul Station, a man was willing to show us where to buy tickets to go the airport.
he was dressed in a suit, maybe working at office where he needs to speak english

i like their older people. even though they can't speak english.. but they are willing to help.
masa tengah terkial2 tengok map.. they were the ones yang datang tegur.
sangat TERHARU.
masa kat train station pun, senyum2, tegur. kawan aku selamba jawab dalam BM..kah kah kah
so jadi la itik & ayam bercakap

if u do your home work well, it's not that difficult to navigate yourself in Seoul.
if i had the chance, definitely will come here for a solo trip.
wish that it would come true

goodbye Korea. i'll definitely be back
