Korea : day 3

we went out quite early coz the journey to Nami Island is quite far.that day was colder than other days because it was raining a bit that morning
we had to change so many trains and went out of town. managed to catch a glimpse of the rural housing place.but no green vegetation anywhere.
our last station was gapyeong.i wanted to try the zipline instead of taking the ferry to Nami Island.but since the fee after converting to RM was like 150...i don't think so.

the ferry to nami island. less than 10 minutes

entering the island... i can only wish to be there at a more proper season instead of a transition like the one we had. bet that place would be so nice during the 4 seasons..especially fall
although this island is known to be the set for Winter Sonata...i cant really relate coz i haven't watch that movie.so i just kind of wander around je la. it was kind of lucky for us coz there was still some snow...hahaha.being able to touch snow...fuhh like a dream come true.

tugu keramat nami island

another tempat wajib bergambar
personally, i have not watch winter sonata.so i cant really relate to this place. i was just enjoying the beauty

i managed to try hotteok at one of the cafe.so nice since the weather was rather cold and the hotteok was hot

the filling : pumpkin seed+sugar+cinnamon powder

there's a surau inside this building

after praying, we looked for nasi goncang since it was being exaggerated too much. at first we couldn't find it. after asking the people at the hotteok cafe...we found it. it was a bit hidden.
we spend the whole day here.

nasi goncang-rice+fried egg+kimchi...before eating,u need to shake it, hence the name. the rice cost 5000 won and the seafood pancake 10000 won. free water

from Nami Island, we went to Myeongdong.

tonight i tried nutella taiyaki

at the Line shop...woohooo one of the pictures i was hoping to get

hotteok again

odeng - processed seafood product made of ground white fish and other ingredients such as potato starch, sugar and vegetables. eaten with broth

my fren bought the sweet potato...aku tak beli coz kat malaysia boleh dapat kakaka

we didn't go all the way / walked through all the road. quite disappointed actually. this place was like heaven for skin care lovers.mostly it was just the same shop/brands but the sample u will get when buying at the shops are not the same even the brand is the same

wanted to do 40 minutes.maybe next time

medals 2017 ✓
my resolution was to get 3 medals this year.
if i can get more..it's a bonus

second run 2017 - villain run

6 May 2017 joined the villain run at UTM.
just me, alone

there were 2 runs held that day
the other one was Silent Run...for the deaf

got this water balloon while running. we were asked to throw it at the second check point.
the 2nd check point was almost at the finishing line...why the heck they gave the balloon so early.
so troublesome to run with full hands

just a lil bit more

throw the water balloon to these kids

5 t-shirts to choose from. so i chose to side with magneto
(because i wanted maroon t shirt)

Korea :day 2

the second day in seoul...so excited to explore the city.
but i was so lazy to shower coz the water heater broke...OMG...can u imagine showering with ice cold water? ok kalu takleh imagine..sila ke dapur, amik ais sekampit (saiz jual kat 7E) then masuk dalam sebaldi air.pastu try mandi..pe rasa???
but , based on experience of showering with hot water..it made my skin very dry.not going to make the same mistake twice.although my frens did boil some water..i just used a little bit.tried to shower with the cold water coz i don't want my face to be scaly and chappy.my pictures wont be nice HAHAHA. since we'll be out the whole day..mandi la jugak.
i just followed the group today. i don't even konw where we were headed.then they said we were going to Namsan Tower...oh no!! i didn't bring my pad lock (already brought 1) yeah..a better reason to come again next time "_<
we took the subway to myeongdong. actually we were discussing at the subway near our GH (guesthouse) about how to ride the train. then came this ahjussi trying to explain to us..we were talking like chicken & duck..so just end up showing the map to him.

just right out of the exit..we found this.
YEAYY i was overjoyed coz i already told my frens i wanted to see this.

turned out the roads leading to Namsan Tower from the subway station was like a cartoon village. they have this cute murals along the way.so the hike was not that bad coz we stopped here & there for selfies & pictures. we even found a shop selling cheap strawberries & banana uyu.this time i bought 2 packs (1 pack has 4 bottles).yeah..told ya i was obsessed with that drink

how can u not buy this??

then we arrived at the cable car station.it was like 5 minutes up. if during summer and i was alone...i might have just use the stairs
we could see Seoul from bird's eye view...although it was a bit cloudy. climbing up...we saw all these pad locks on the fences. and there was this stall selling cotton candy in the shapes of bear and a few other things. we went higher and ate our food. the strawberry was so NICE and SWEET !! omg. and it was big. pejam mata sambil bayang betapa nikmatnye makan stoberi manis, masam sket2 je.

later we walked around Namsan Tower. we didn't go up the tower coz of the money. we went down on a furnicular from the cable car building. so glad we took that way coz we were able to see sakura-like flower...it looked like sakura but white

the only toll i see in Seoul...coz our main transportation here was the subway

from there we went to Korea War Museum. it was a place i said i wanted to go.so others just kinda agreed. unfortunately...it was closed because it was Monday. how stupid of me. i did write the place is closed on Monday..doink! so we just wondered outside. even the displays outside was so cool. just enjoy these pictures.after we finished wandering outside...we just hang out in front of the entrance and enjoyed the free wifi...hahaha typical asian.everywhere needs internet.

stopped by DeliManjoo @Myeongdong station for mandu’ (mandu is Korean for dumpling). a custard filled cake that literally looks like a mini corn. nice

in the making

also bought this smash cookie..it's cookie coated with chocolate  (different flavours) and shaped into a ball. before u eat it, smash it with a wooden hammer.
one of my aim here is to try as many street food/proper food of theirs as i can

statue of brothers

then around 5 we went to Itaewon.planned to pray and have dinner there. the roads leading to the central mosque was hilly but still ok. along the way, there were many halal restaurants and shops selling halal ingredients. after praying, we wanted to eat at Eid but was again disappointed because the shop is close on Monday...so we end up eating at Hajj...still not a bad choice coz the ahjumma named Mariam was so friendly. she even insisted on adding us as her frens on facebook ngeh geh ngeh
sempat lagi menyinggah shopping on the way to the mosque.one of the best thing in korea is the skincare shops.it was EVERYWHERE !!!! but u need to compare the price . went into this shop because the salesgirl was distributing samples outside. she pulled our hands to go into the shop..seriously we were forced to go inside HAHAHA
.and it was not a bad choice too coz it was having 50% sale for selected items.

mariam preparing the food.she tried talking to us even though her vocabulary is limited

after dinner, we just went back to the GH.saving energy coz the next day we're going to Nami Island
