I'm typing this while waiting for my 1st dose of vaccination turn. If I wait later, I might forget the details.
So I received an sms on 29th April..That was kinda quick.. OMG. I always check My Sejahtera but no news. So receiving an sms was a bit of a shock. I'm not anti-vax but this new thing just gives me the creep. Whatever it is, just pray for the best and I don't grow an extra hand 😹

So I arrived a bit late at the centre coz I kinda get dress late and it took me 50mins to drive on the highway. There were not many people waiting. Maybe because it was still early. I went to the 1st dose counter. Took some forms and filled them up.

Don't worry too much. The medical staffs were helpful and guiding me where to go next. After the 1st counter, moved on to the 2nd one. Don't forget to bring your phone coz they will be needing it to check My Sejahtera. At the 2nd counter, the doctor keyed in my particulars in her laptop. Then moved to 3rd counter.
At the 3rd counter, I had to fill in the consent form. The medical staff asked details about allergy, health condition and so on. Then she asked me "any question?" hmm I just asked what kind of vaccine I'll receive today.. Pfizer.. That's all I asked. Then moved to 4th counter where they gave number. Next, we were taken inside the hall by a nurse and wait outside rooms. About 5 minutes, they called me inside. The nurse asked which hand for injection. I tried not to stressed out coz when the muscle is tensed, it'll be more painful. The nurse swabbed alcohol, then she said she's going to inject me. Now, I'm going to inject the vaccine.. I could barely feel anything.. Seriously. Waited for few moments for her to give me the file and key in my details.
Moved to last station. The observation area. After injection, we needed to wait for 15 minutes to see for any reaction. But I kinda waited for 1/2 hour. The staff called and asked if I feel anything wrong. I was OK. He said to go to the clinic if I feel any chest pain. Okie dokie. He answered the question on My Sejahtera for me. And my 2nd dose is scheduled on 25 May. Lucky I was OK while driving home. Later I feel a bit 'lenguh' on my arm. Now I'm sleepy and I can't lie down on my left hand hehe
I'll update about my 2nd dose when the time comes. Gotta be prepared for this one coz those who got it said the effect is more severe and they had to take panadol. How am I going to go back after the shot?? 😥
Update : the next day, around 10 am..my upper body felt feverish and so tired. my arm was so lenguh also. after breaking fast that night, I rested and ate paracetamol
