Girls' Outing

today i went out with 2 girlfriends...been planning to go out together for few times now.
planned to look around for good food ala JJCM.
headed to Pontian...stopped by at a mamak place for breakfast.
ordered roti telur..then my fren said there's roti cheese...so i ordered 1 more.
ohhh now i'm in love with roti canai cheese..ok fine.orang lain dah lama dah tau.

then we looked around at the beach but it was not nice.
we saw a helicopter on the field...so we headed there.managed to snap some pictures with it

why am i so fascinated by clock tower?
better start a collection of their pictures

since there's no interesting place to go in Pontian (been to Tg.Piai before, Bugis Museum was unsearchable, Pineapple Museum looks dull from outside) i headed to Tropical Village in Ayer Hitam

the entrance fee for us adult was RM10...u can also drive ur car inside but we decided to walk around...WALAWEY !!! it was so hot today so we ended up having sun burn...Doink!!
the best attractions here are the cartoons statue (had an enjoyable time posing with them *_^ ) and the mini landmarks of the world

cartoon toyland

children playground in the shape of fruits

mini zoo -didn't check what animal they have though..
but i saw signs of tortoise..maybe just small animals

boat centre

lake

dinosaur park...only a few exists

train ride and haunted house

managed to be scared

they have 30 world famous landmarks and attractions (according to the pamphlet)

KLCC made of aluminium cans and cement

love garden.
totally great for outdoor photoshoot.
Nabihah : take note HAHAHAHA

overall, this place is interesting but i dunno what is wrong coz there were only the 3 of us and another family.the management should promote this place a lot more.maybe the place is not strategic kot.
before heading home...we went to Kampung Melayu to enjoy ABC,otak2 and satay.the satay was really nice coz it's only chicken..no fatty part (kulit atau part lembik2 tu takde)

i belanje u guys gambar aje ye

summer trip 2014 : Mostar

arrived in Mostar around 10 am
at that moment, i was kinda anxious bout the Kunas i still have
coz it's only accepted in Croatia...
i tried to look around for a money changer but didn't see any

what do i say about Mostar??
there's still leftovers ruins from the war in the early 90s
so easy to destroy but takes a lot of time (and money) to build

before we went on the tour around the city...had toilet break.
WHOOAAAA!!!
that was the first time i answered "nature's call" at a very expensive price.
50cents euro...around RM2.50...as expensive as using the toilet at KLCC.

we were dropped at this place.that building in front used to be a cinema.
beside it was a cemetery

this used to be a shopping centre

it was hard to imagine what really happened and
how those people are feeling ~looking at the marks

our guide in Mostar..very funny.she said she's a professor and working part time as a tour guide.
working 3 jobs at the moment to save money to buy a house.as usual i forgot to look at her name.
arrghh dunno what's wrong with me

she said people purposely used pebbles like this on the street to prevent people
from looking at the opposite sex and concentrate their gaze on the street..
HA HA HA

our first visit was the turkish house

she explained the meaning of this fountain....
all i can remeber is 4 seasons of the year.
lousy memory span!

men's living room

previous owner

in the past, when there is a cloth on the door, it means the mother is feeding her child.
so dont enter!

beautiful river behind the house...seriously HEAVEN!

then we were taken here..

Neretva River

the old part that was destroyed can be seen below

on the bridge

then we had lunch.
at last !!!! we had chicken. *rasa nak wat sujud syukur je*
after almost a week of having fish ...it was a relief

the veggie in the middle was like paprik

only managed to finish the chicken...very nice

the dessert...Baklava...way toooo sweet

before moving around to buy souvenir..we went to pray

this mosque is the size of a classroom...even smaller than 'surau' in Malaysia

free entrance to perform solah

fridge magnet for 1euro...6 pieces for 5euros only.
buy your souvenir here in Mostar

unfortunately...he didn't jump.if u want to see some action...pay them

another ruin.....

some aunties were mugged at this junction.from what i heard,
they gave money to the kids who begged for money.
we had been warned before not to pity them and give them money.coz they are gypsies.
maybe then they were aimed.
a few guys surrounded the aunties and took some of their money.
SCARY!

then we were taken to the hotel.a cool one. (do ask personally if u are interested ngeh3)
it's like a smart-environmental-friendly hotel.
the light outside the hotel turned off when there's no people.
-2 thumbs up-

typical breakfast for this trip....but this one the egg is fried instead of hard boiled :)

the seed was outside....tu je nak tunjuk

checked out after breakfast.heading to a waterfall
