on the third day, we headed to alor setar
our first stop was Pekan Rabu...i only bought rojak mak bee (dulu i tak berapa gemar benda ni..but now i'm hooked ! betul la cakap seseorang tu..maybe benda yg kita tak suka dulu,kita akan suka satu hari nanti... ngeee) and had lunch

from Pekan Rabu, we went to Rumah Kelahiran Mahathir.they have so many old stuff but lucky for me coz i had the oppurtunity to see some of the stuff when i was small. we only spent like 1/2 hour here. so i cant possibly read all the info about Dr M.

then we went to Paddy Museum...it was near Gunung Keriang..and there is also a science centre somewhere around here..u can see all sort of information related to paddy here.u need to pay rm5 if u wish to take pics inside and rm3 for entry-adult

later, we were taken to our hotel for the night...Bee Garden Motel (2 stars) what the heck..it's juz to shut our eyes for 7 hours...who cares bout the stars.after putting my bags in the room..i went out to see a fren who juz delivered a baby boy. yeah!!!
it's quite confusing for me to find the main road coz i wanted a cab.in the end...i walked until Pekan Rabu.tu pun i had trouble telling the driver where i was going. so i called my fren & asked her to explain :)

her baby is juz 2 weeks ( at that time he was having "kuning") so tiny but so cute.ok tak leh nak cubit lagi coz  sangat lembik :p. later her mom sent me back to the hotel. the rest of the gang went up the Alor Setar Tower...since i've been there..so takde la jeles noo
after taking my shower...time to sleep people !!! ZZZzzzZZZzzz

north trip 2

upon arriving in penang, we headed to our homestay
after freshing up, we headed to Penang Hill (Bukit Bendera) unfortunately it was closed.
turns out there was something wrong with the train & people were stranded on top for few hours.
so we went to georgetown....bazar chowrasta area...and had our lunch. and it was 4 pm!!!! my gosh! i'm starvvving.lucky coz i got to eat nasi kandar.we saw an indian family beside our table eating papadom with their rice..we were like "how come we didn't see that" and making a bit 'huru hara' at our table.then the father passed their papadom to us.aiyoh so terrible la these people.buat malu saja.see !! penang people are nice :)

then we went around that area...buying pickled fruits (not a fan though).i love being in penang and looking at the buildings.it's like u went back to a very different era.however the traffic is juz "to die for" bahaha.obviously, we cant blame the car owners.the roads are small & destroying the buildings is definitely not an option.

after pusing2 around here, we were taken to Padang Kota...

we walked around and had the chance to went inside Fort Cornwallis..the entrance fee is RM2..so cheap kan??inside,u can see a statue of francis light,history of Japan invasion in Malaya,a light house,cannons etc.

north trip 1

i'm on the bus heading to penang...i'm juz SUPER excited.been 8years since i've been there.it was convocation.

yesterday we arrived in ipoh around noon.we took the ETS from KL Sentral.this is better than my last train experience...at least it was quieter.

then we went to our homestay for short rest & lunch.later we went to Lost World of Tambun.for me & seah,our experience in Bukit Gambang Waterpark was better.it was cheaper & better suits the adults.at lost world,they have the amusement park (around 5/6 rides) we encountered a trouble yesterday and the person we met was helping but in a "terpaksa" kinda way.i know it's our mistake but can u pliss help sincerely? ok whatever.probably,this would be the first and last time i come here.even seah thinks the same. but the hot water pool was nice...they even have sauna-like pool & hot jacuzzi

our family juz got bigger

last sunday my family juz got bigger
woohoo my bro got married..congratz !!
that's why last saturday i went to KL..i thought of staying there coz this thursday i'm off to the north...ok not "that" north....juz the north of peninsular malaysia.starting from perak, all the way to perlis.
but after a change of plan, now i'm back in johor (sighhhhhhhhh)
the nikah was at a mosque in selayang while the jamuan was held at FRIM
so bro & 2nd SIL...wish u all da best of married life.

juz ignore the other stuff.the amount i counted is rm333.hohoho still a long way to go.2 main contributors for this milk bottle are coins & money from recycling.
i usually keep the coins i get.then i change it at some shops.for the recycling part...well i recycle stuff that can be recycled-cans,papers,plastic.i dun get much but i dun really care coz my main purpose of recycling is for mother earth (chewah!) .i know this wont make pollution go away tomorrow or next week..but at least i do my part to making this world a better place ( tu dia! speech macam nak bertanding miss world)

now enjoying 4 days of aidil adha holidays.hope i can come back for good next month.insya Allah,do pray for me ya

USS 2nd time

last saturday we went to universal studio singapore again..alaaa baru twice jep pun ;P
ok this time around rasa jakun tu agak dah kurang sket ye

this time i spend time on things i didnt manage to see the last time i was here
i managed to catch the waterworld show...great to watch with kababoom here and there,u get to see the actors doing the stunts live!

but they make it sound so easy..maybe i'll blog about "the real teacher" 1 day bahahaha

i watched a few movies after raya (hahahaha dah habis posa makanya menghempot balik syaiton2nirojim masuk dalam kepala otak) ok bersalah itew

well, not bad la kan..aku lebih sakit hati dengan cite prometheus (jap lagi explain).this movie shows the love-hate relationship between mother-daughter (ulppp! ) the daughter started to rebel coz her mom was not always there.in the end they patched up.nice movie

it's bad enuf that i dun understand the storyline.not as good as expected.i feel the part where the alien ship fell was stupid.u know the part where charlize theron was running.WTF! why do u have to run on the same path the space ship is rolling?? kan dah mati.sengal la dohh.oh, then in the end...is that 'the alien'??? it looks like it.anyone??

this is funny..u should watch it.and the hero is not bad looking either (ok lari topik).married for the sake of getting a green card.an arranged marriage.in the end, they still fell in love.happy ending.i loike!

oh my...since the movie starts until the end... i cant stop laughing.these 3 fools are juz hilarious.ok not for people who hate stupid jokes/slapstick

last monday i went to singapore
u know the story bout wanting to see the harry potter rite??
so in the end, i planned of going to gardens by the bay and sentosa island (2 places are enuf)

but when i arrived there, i had a change of mind
i decided to go to mustafa centre (coz they have CDs)
and i'm looking for a few old CDs..not that old la...around 2004 jep
the place is quite ok...i mean it opens 24hours..how cool is that? when u cant sleep, u can always shop ! (if u have the money of course... :p )
unfortunately, i didnt find any of the CDs i want...arrgghhh so stressful.
i dunno where to look for them anymore. even nak download pun tak dapat.
i was tempted to buy 'sleepless in seattle' but next time laaa

then i made my way to gardens by the bay..recently opened.
very cool....the supertree grove was juz spectacular
quite tiring for an old people like me (bahaha) to walk around this place since it is huge.
even i missed going to the tadpole lake (ok my mistake for not checking the map properly)

u can even walk on the tress...sorry i didnt check the ticket

there's also exhibition inside the domes behind me...but i didnt get in coz i dun wanna pay for the ticket (cheapo !!! ) .next time i'll try to get inside

i can see the singapore flyers...ooohh i really wanna get on that thing.....keeping my fingers cross.
