the journey was about 2-3 hours from Bled to Opatija
it was raining a little bit when we reached Opatija
so i dun bother taking any picture coz it would come out ugly
but i bet the scenery will be SUPERB if it was sunny
the road leading to our hotel was nice
(some things are meant to be enjoyed...that's why no pictures !! ahaks)
our hotel...sadly, i didnt get the beach view
the hotel room here is the smallest that i've slept (throughout the whole journey)
juz enough space for me to pray beside the queen bed
after dinner, we decided to go out and see the beach
we didnt go far...juz in front of the hotel
after breakfast, took some pictures in front of the hotel

at a junction, i came across this.
i've been seeing the Arena (like the one in Rome) on the fridge magnet of Croatia.
so i think there must be one in Pula.
demmmit !!! after refering to my uncle google...turns out there is.
argghhh so frustrated coz this was not included in the itinerary.
if it was included...i can cross out Italy from my
HAVE-TO-VISIT-BEFORE-I-DIE COUNTRIES
hahahahaha never!
the weather that morning was nice and clear

the highway we used was by the sea
it was calming to see the blue sea all the way
Goran (our driver) explained a few things about Croatia
like the national flower for Opatija is camellia
if u see the picture above, u can see the oil barrel (i dunno what to call it).
Croatia imports oil from Libya
this island becomes like that (no trees at all) because of the harsh wind from the mountain
stopped at this town for a while for toilet break
