summer trip 2014 : Zagreb

Zagreb's airport was like so small...i think smaller than the old Kuala Terengganu's airport.

after our passports were cleared, my uncle and I quickly went to the money changer.

we changed our euros to kuna (Croatian currency)...this currency is not available in Malaysia.

i only changed 30euros...no plan of shopping.i only had plan to buy 3 fridge magnets, 1 from each country.that's all the souvenir i need

after everybody was cleared, we went out to our bus...ooohhh it's chilly.for malaysian and having very little fat, it was quite cold for me.maybe like Cameron Highlands in the evening.

then we were taken to the city centre.the weather was rather gloomy.but all the better to walk around.

then we went around the city on foot. there seemed to be like some kind of celebration around the city.it turns out, 31st May is Zagreb City Day. we saw many people wearing traditional costumes around the city.

very nice indeed.

then we went to the market...or rather the morning market i think...
i juz went crazeeee seeing all the berries!!!
only 1euro for each pack...u know the one u see at Aeon/Tesco....where each is like RM18...
in Zagreb i can eat strawberries and cherries without the guilt of splurging!
HEAVEN !!!

after buying some berries (snacks while waiting for lunch) we continued our tour

we were taken to our hotel...after checking in..rested for a while.6.30 pm we went out for dinner

 the first course is always soup.eaten with bread

i did collect some packets from KFC but forgot to bring it.darn!
notice the veggie....for every meal, it is either raw or overly cooked

 dessert...the filling was too sour

after dinner, went back to the hotel....since the wifi is FREE and SUPER FAST (me loike! )...
ape lagi buat?? online laaa...
i was busy updating pictures on instagram and FB while waiting for Maghrib and Isya' prayer...
maghrib was around 8.20pm -Jamak Takdim je la ye
then i've to wake up at 3am for Subuh prayer...hoho
