yogyakarta part 4

Last day in jogja. Went out early after checking out and leaving our stuff at the hotel.Went to Tamansari but it was still closed. So we went to Rumah Hobbit. The place seems to be undergoing some construction/renovation. but still, u can have decent pictures. u can also do flying fox here for only 20 000 rupiah !! OMG..i really want to do it but hate the thoughts of people waiting and we also have many places to go.

next spot was Hutan Pinus Manggunan. You have to have the skill to shoot panoramic coz that's the only way you can capture the top of the trees

Moved to Tamansari. By now, the place was crowded. Terpaksa berebut gak la nak amik gambar kat spot wajib.

Before going to the airport, we went souvenier shopping. Batik, t-shirts and Amanda brownies. So sad coz they did not have the marble cheese brownies. So i bought the one with strawberry and classic brownies. There was also brownies kering (they cut the brownies and bake it longer so it's texture is like cookies)
Went to the airport around 2pm. The guide and supir dropped us and after checking in our luggage, had lunch at ala-KFC-restaurant at the airport. Then we went inside. Tried to get some sleep on the flight coz I need to drive back. But with the conversation going on and my cough, not much sleep.
Arrived in KLIA2 around 8.30pm. My cousin came and we sent her back to her office. We directly headed to JB. I felt like my fever got worse. Managed to arrive in JB around 3am.

All i can say is Yogyakarta is KEREN .i definitely want to come here again. so many nice views. Not to mention about being millionaire here.

yogyakarta part 3

third day activities were pack..we went out till night.
first we went to Kalibiru..such a beautiful place

didn't know we can actually take a stroll at the lake below..next time *_^ ! for few pictures, they are free.after few numbers, u must pay for the extras.so, better choose the nice ones. we were so lazy...just pay for the whole thing.
then we had lunch somewhere along the journey.

the teh botol was quite bitter. i usually like my tea sweet

lucky we didn't have to climb like borobudur. not too much crowd like yesterday

didn't spend much time here. rushing to go to Timang Beach.

oh i forgot to mention. a few friends were sharpening their skill in photography. taking pictures in panoramic mode. all thanks to our guide at Merapi yesterday. me?? nah..i'm just their model HAHAHA 

our journey to Timang was like riding a roller coaster.i even asked the driver whether we'll take the same road on the way back..he said there's another road but still the same and have to add another 1/2 hour...no THANKS..that was already torture. we arrived quite late and the sky was a bit dark already. then, we had to take the jeep to go to the beach itself. OMG !!! the feeling was as bad as riding a roller coaster.but i'll choose this jeep anytime coz it's on land. it was bumpy for like almost 1/2 hour.the jeep couldn't go fast.all my internal organs were shaken ! nearing the beach, the road got better. 

the view was OMG!!!!! AMAZING!!!!!!

we quickly climb down (just a bit) bought the tickets for the gondola. seeing how the wave splashed onto the rocks..whewww

the gondola can accomodate 2 people. tried to take a video on the ride. the water below was so nice.. in an angry way that is

it was already night when we arrived back at the village where we parked the car.

the most awaited event....eating lobster !!!

personally...i think crab has better taste..maybe i should try eating this somewhere else hee

then we went back to the road we came.pitch black with no street lamp.

we headed to Hutan Pinus Pengger. for picture taking. i was already "capek" with coughing and everything.the same method like in Kalibiru. take pictures and you have to pay for it. so choose just nice shots of yourself.but have to say..their pictures are nice.

then we went back to the hotel.what a long day.

yogyakarta part 2

on the second day in jogja, we had to wake up at 3.30 am because the first activity was to catch sunrise at Berede Hill at 4 am.
if only we could continue sleeping in the car

no sign of the sun yet.but the surrounding was so peaceful. if only i can wake up with empty heart instead of "heavy" heart in Malaysia

from there, we went to Gereja Ayam. actually it was a pigeon but whatever it is u can always google for information. it's a worship house for like all religion.

Borobudur !! we bought combined ticket (borobudur+prambanan)

40usd if i'm not mistaken.but we paid rupiah of course. i didnt bring my usd. hahaha

it was freaking hot that day.wearing 2 layers of clothes certainly didnt help (all because of the white shirt) 

OK i paid very serious thinking of what to wear every single day here. i read everywhere and those people recommend wearing bright colours in jogja like red, orange and yellow. i managed to buy red.no luck with orange.i actually managed to order 1 in yellow but in the end something wrong with the material and the seller asked me to pick a new colour.i chose royal blue which i wore on the flight .then i bought a new white and bright pink err . and i also ask my frens if we could color-coordinate for 1 day..(for the entire trip would seem absurd) just for the fun of it. so, if u are going to jogja...DO WEAR BRIGHT COLOURS

the site itself was amazing. just imagine how they built this without machinery. i cant imagine..

it was difficult to move around because of the crowd. it was Saturday !!! many schools were having school trip. no hope for decent pictures

now, we're off to Merapi..took the shortest merapi jeep tour. didn't stop at stonehenge (sob sob)

next time will try to take the longest ride (yang main air tu)

another reason to come back is....we didn't get to see merapi !!! it was blanketed in mist/cloud

so sad

before heading out..the guy was our supir for the whole trip

headed to tempo gelato because i read those who come to jogja will eat here.

lastly, i settled for chocolate, vanilla and speculoos (maybe i mis-spell this)

forgot that i wanted berries flavour

luckily some people chose that.i took a bite.

i considered this to be my cough syrup 

after gelato, malioboro street again. headed to nol kilometer. i thought they had some kind of monument or special landmark.it's just sign board. but it was quite dark.

i see pictures on instagram..so nice during the day

(another reason to go there again)
